I have been doing a lot of research on this because me and my ex have been divorced for over 6 years, he didn’t really want the divorce we tried but it didn’t work. He’s never wanted to pay child support, but has and complained always. We had joint custody and I’ve never Denied my daughter time w her father. He strred dating an ex friend of mine and fir years he’s tried to b cintrolliing @ certain things. But once she turned 11 he really started changing…and I also noticed My daughters behavior. Well he didn’t have money for braces, etc. So I pd his portion and him to pay me back in June 10. Well in july he gets married and has money to go to Florida. I too have an older daughter whom her dad hasn’t been there for her much in years. She’s been in trouble several times I’ve did all I kno to do. She gets in trouble again, I grounded her, I too just has a major neck surgery. I tried for 3 days contacting her dad re her behavior w no response of course. Then one evening I felt ok. Kinda me and my youngest was cooking I asked where my other daughter was. Her sis said in bed on the phone. I said she’s grounded I ask her several times to get up come help me and her sis cook dinner I really want supposed to b and she’s 16 she could help instead she kept mouthing me until I slapped her on th arm two Times. Well she got to her sis they called one dad and the other the dad that’s never there called the cops and they arrested me and sent my kids to their dads. This was 8/31/10 since then I’ve had two lawyers. Gird one. And I do get to see my oldest 2very other weekend. But my now 12 year old I’ve ssan only 7 times in @ 5 or 6 mos. She has her own attorney but her dad has totally brainwashed her. She doesn’t have any contact w me or any of my family. All because he’s Still angry @ divorce. And paying child support. He is doin the sever things of a HAP. Her attorney isn’t ding much of anything and my bee attorney is trying to clean the mess up of my other attorney. I have always had my kids never denied them to go to their dads nor jab I talked negative @ them. But I can’t say the same for my ex because my 12 year old knows too much. She hears it all the time all the bad stuff they say. That’s untrue. I’ve always been good to my kids they are all I have and I kno she loves me and my family but they won’t allow any contact w us. he doesn’t even have custody. How can he do this. I don’t even kno my daughter anymore because of what they r doing. But he blames me. How can he I don’t get to see her talk to her nor do I get to have contact w school. I never know what’s going on. He nor she tells me cause I believe she afraid to hurt his feelings. He once had a great relationship w her but I kept telling him one day she will kno the truth! I tell her I love and miss her everyday by text. Rarely responds to me. I’m so upset. Hurt. Angry. Bitter at him for what he’s doing on top of this he’s in contempt due to medical bills and chil support. But I’m the one that can’t see her?? Don’t get it, he should b ashamed. He’s only hurting our daughter. What can I do besides keep faith. And pray? D
